Operations Officer

Responsibilities

 

  • Handle bookings and follow up requests for outbound group tours
  • Follow through production and operation processes in adherence to the Company's standards
  • Co-ordinate with suppliers on rates and inventory
  • Create and support product-built in booking system and subsequent follow up
  • Monitor and follow up schedules of deposit and payment with suppliers
  • Prepare tour files and detailed briefing for tour escorts
  • Co-ordinate with stakeholders for any special requests from customers, ensuring fulfilment by tour escorts and suppliers on tours
  • Provide on tour support to tour escorts when problems arising
  • Perform ad-hoc duties or projects as and when assigned
 


Requirements


  • Secondary level (HKCEE/HKDSE) with professional training in tourism management or related disciplines
  • Min. 5 years' relevant experience in travel industry
  • Proactive and well organized
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with MS Office
  • Hands-on experience in ticketing and airline systems
  • Fast and accurate typing including Chinese word processing
  • Able to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines
  • Good command of both written and spoken English & Cantonese



Ticketing Officer (Central Tariff & Fulfilment)

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide ticketing and fare quotation service for the company
  • Handle enquiries in a timely and professional manner
  • Keep abreast of the market intelligence and destinations knowledge through continuous learning
  • Support in research of market trends, airline & hotel promotion
  • Assist in inventory control and negotiation with suppliers (DMC, airlines, hotels, etc.) for cost efficiency
  • Co-ordinate with internal departments and airlines/suppliers in resolving customer complaints
  • Perform ad hoc duties or projects as when and assigned 

 




Requirements

 

  • F.5/DSE or above, or graduates of diploma in Travel or related disciplines
  • Minimum 4 years’ relevant experience in ticketing/fulfilment
  • Proactive, customer focus and pleasant
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Attentive to details and able to work under pressure
  • Good problem solving, planning and organizing skills
  • Must be computer literate and familiar with ticketing and airline systems (Sabre GDS, Amadeus, BSP)
  • Good command of spoken and written English & Cantonese
